OL Grad transfers options for Vols

Counts against next year's #s.
Hell no.

Only a sure fire impact starter is needed. There is a reason these guys are grad transfers. They weren't playing.

I believe they can be added to any unused 2018 scholarships left first, then the rest towards the '19 class. Just have no clue how many we really have available from 2018. There's atleast 1, but not sure beyond that.

Yep. I think we have one spot left for the 2018 class.

That's what I was thinking. Think we had 2 left, then the JUCO DB committed. If we have someone not qualify, can't a Grad Transfer or JUCO use that available scholarship also?

I just hope we get that big 6'9 O-Lineman.... Can you imagine what his wingspan is? With him and Smith on the edges no one would get by....

Another Bama OL transferring. Played in 3 games last year and had a foot injury. Got a medical RS.

Short-term fix with average players is not going to be successful in the long run we are posters on here that are wanting players that are marginal to fill in the gap’s

What makes an “average player” tho? Recruiting services? Or a coach who’s seen what works and what the players who make it work look like? Trust the coaches is way too big a leap of faith for most...but not me. :) These are teachers and developers...we’ve had TALENT...this is what’s been missing.

We don’t have anymore “unused” 2018 scholarships. Even if we did, backcounting is no longer allowed. If Brandon Davis shows up, we’re down to 23 spots in next season’s class...by Hubbs count.

Edit: Remember that we only had 23 spots in the 18 class due to Shaquille Wiggins GT’ing and Princeton Fant blueshirting. Chryst and London took those last two spots.

Career backups that kept getting passed in the depth chart by younger players

Grade of slaw when you consider players like Dallas Warmack. “Kept getting passed” by 5 star elite talents. We’re not in that situation OL wise or other. Sometimes an opportunity and a scheme fit do wonders. See Terrell Davis.

Our OL is straight garbage and we are just looking for bodies for 2018.. The key is none of the players went to the NFL or even tried which tells you how good they really are

You hit this one on the fat part of the bat, my friend:)
