How do you go from 200 to 20, anyone have a live report from camp. There is no excitement with Dooley.

Waiting for someone to tell me this is ok that we downsized 90% of prospects in our most crucial area of need.

I knew you wouldn't take long. I at least thought you would have a response saying this is all part of the plan.

Over 90% of those players that were here last year, were players that wouldn't wouldn't have taken last year anyways. Don't let facts stand in the way though. There was only 20-30 guys we would have taken at camp last year. So, why have so many guys you aren't interested in?? The blanket method doesn't work that well, IMO.

Our best DL Montori Hughes was not considered a top notch guy for whatever reason before his senior year or even into his senior year. THAT is why you get as many prospects to camp to find some players that are under the radar yet possible great players.

Don't question the method. Question the results. Talk to me in Feb. What is your plan in the meantime IFF he doesn't have a plan? Can you do anything about it? Oh, you can only moan and complain?

So our entire recruiting strategy should be the diamond in the rough philosophy?

BTW - how many of those 200 guys did we land last year?

Montori was signed by Fulmer as an afterthought. These are the type guys you may find in a "big" camp that Kiffin held. Dooley will simply not do the work needed to have a large camp. Time will tell.

What? Dooley "won't do the work"? This guy left Miami instead of going to Alabama to become the head coach AND AD at a little school. That's not a willingness to work?? You make comments about that whick you don't know.

To draw that conclusion from a difference in styles is asanine, bud. So if we don't run the spread, we don't want to score points? LOL cmon buddy, your way off base with that claim. (@ least the from the angle you presented it.) As you said, time will tell. But that's equal to me saying we will go undefeated bc dooley "Wants to compete". Come harder or shut up.

Things would be different here if the work that he did had produced better results than a 17-20 record in a horrid conference.
