Okie State's schedule is 114th, so they might not be as good as their stats.

Our SOS is 77th.

Oklahoma State will be a tough game - no doubt, but let's not take Saturday's game against Western Kentucky too lightly, either.

The Hilltoppers are currently 8-2, and averaging 79 points/game. They should win the Sunbelt conference. Their losses have come to a couple of pretty good teams - Florida and Southern Illinois. Coach Pearl says that Courtney Lee (averaging 19 points/game) is a NBA player. Just looking at their team stats, they look fairly deep, with 10 players averaging over 12.5 minutes/game.

How is the SOS calculated?

Without doing any research, it seems to me we have a very tough schedule.

We are playing half of last year's elite 8, and we played UNC, and will play Ohio State, Oklahoma State, in addition to a tough SEC schedule.

Any insight?

I don't have that much insight, but I would assume the SoS ranking mentioned was only counting games played. It is impossible to predict what final SoS would be at this point.

At the end of the year I would predict UT's SoS to be very high.

I was at the Garden when they pretty much stomped my Orangemen at the Jimmy V Classic.

They're pretty talented across the board.

I'm not sure how much zone you guys play, but they shredded our 2-3 zone both inside and out.

JamesOn Curry is their biggest outside threat. He hit a big 3 to turn a 1 point game into a 4 point game with 20 secs left.

Mario Boggan was automatic around the basket.

They can run... starting 5 very athletic, don't try to get in a running match with them.

The only reason SU made it a game was the press. SU put on their press with about 5 minutes left, turned a 13-14 point lead into a close ballgame.

Good luck guys, it'll be a dogfight.

If Tennessee doesn't turn it into a 94 foot game, they have no shot in a half court contest.
