I missed the details of this announcement.
What years and where will each years game be played?
Any dates set yet?

I've always felt we scheduled tough nonconference opponents since I've been following UT football, from Notre Dame to UCLA to Cal, and now we've got UCLA again, Oregon, Oklahoma and Nebraska in the coming decade. Good stuff. And after 3 years of Butch Davis at the helm, North Carolina could be a force too.

Bring em On !!!!

I like the tough non-conference games. We have had some big wins over the years by scheduling these games.

Geez, my wife is from Ok and just as big of a sooner as I am a Vol. We are planning on having kids in two years, gives me 5 years to convert them to the true team.

Tennessee is one of a very few big time teams that does not get accused of schedule stacking, due to willingness to play all comers. Another good reason to be a VOL! GO VOLS beat the tigers!:dance2:

Yeah .. at least UT is willing to play people unlike ND. I heard ND was unwilling to schedule a game with bama.

I already made another thread about this topic of non-conferene schedule, so I won't get into it again here.

I'll just say this: I don't like it.

I'd be surprised if he leaves UNC right now. They just gave him a 300k raise and an extension, and they're going to expand the stadium to 80k because that's what Butch wants.

The SEC schedule is tough enough without playing top 10 outside the conference every year. I don't see the reward in the current BcS. They reward teams for playing weak schedules and winning.
