Did anyone 'Vote for Pedro'? I'm going to try and check a few Sec. of States' websites to see what I can find.

I didn't vote for Pedro, but in '82 I used to be able to throw a pigskin a quarter mile.

I know people who voted for Jim Tressel for Governor of Ohio.

I was very tempted to write in my baby boy for Governor......

I did not do any write ins this election but withthe new voting machines in my district it would have been very easy. In the old days if you wanted to do a write in you had to ask for a special ballot and all the poll workers would give you the evil eye.

Computer voting is great!

It took a couple of minutes to vote on over 5 pages of junk.
Yes, but I have heard that part of the reason some poeple had to spend so long in line at the polls is because some voters did not bother to read the sample ballots and then they would spend 20 minutes inthe booth scrolling through all those pages. Double-edged sword I guess. The past few elections I have taken advantage of early voting. There is always at least one Saturday when the polls are open which helps me to vote without missing/being late for work, or having to stand in a long line.

I have no idea if it is the same for you, but absentee ballots were sent out about a month ago here in Ohio........

Almost tempted to go that route instead of waiting in line.

Yeah. I just don't feel right using one unless I know that I cannot get to the polls during early voting or the day of the general election. In TN, we now allow anyone age 65 or older to vote by mail wether they will be absent or not.
