Ok.. Something I heard on Memphis radio and Why is CDD like this?

Was listening to Chris Vernon and he was talkin with Terry Fair and they were talkin about how disappointed Fair was with Dooley not being real receptive to alumni.

I know this has been talked about in the past but I just don't understand this. The alum wants to come back support these guys but the coach is against it... Seems like a major problem to me. Thoughts.. And nope I pull for Dooley just disappointed in his decision to do this..

I thought dooleys said he was making attempts to make it easier for alums to show up. Berry was on campus today.

Peyton Manning was working out with Bray earlier... Eric Berry was just working out with the wr.... Dwayne Goodrich just talked to the team... Jay Graham on staff. Seems open to me

Isn't Eric Berry on campus either now, or has been very recently? I know Peyton comes back from time to time. I have seen an interview with Al Wilson that leads me to believe that he has been on campus with the players.

I had heard that this was a problem Dooley's first season, but I think I have heard that it has largely been corrected. At least I hope so. Lettermen should always be allowed to come home. It is good for them, the University, and the current players.

No I've been hearing rumblings with others just not with ones that's not on the staff.. Peyton should always be welcomed here no matter what, see previous post bout Berry and Dwayne.

Terry Fair was a great Vol and him not being welcomed at practice or anything like that just seems ludacris to me.. Not the rapper.

Media member I would say. It's not that big of a deal. They are allowed back and are around the program. Dooley isn't an idiot

I ran into Jamal Lewis a couple of weeks ago and he had no problem with Dooley. I also run into x-players training here in Marietta. They have all had wonderful things to say and visit when they want to. Unsure if things have changed but I have not heard any problems. TIFWIW

I think someone else mentioned that it is because Fair is a media member, which is understandable. It's one thing for former players to have access, it's another to use that access to write about the program.

I was listening to Fish n Stats. ****ing Lapides was on. I think most of the 56 crew is either neutral or pro UT, except Lapides. He said he thinks UT's run is over. And the reason was so weak. He said that's when Bama, LSU, UGA, USC, etc were all down. There was us and UF. It was stupid logic. He is a joke and Smith made him look like a fool.

I heard this his first year, but can you blame him?

The last thing you need when establishing yourself as a coach is a bunch of players hanging around that you don't know.

Really?? Was that why EB was at UT this week working out with our wide receivers? Must have slipped through Dooley's barbed wire fence and guard towers. Me thinks somebody is FOS!:machgun:

Just might be with the media Vols that's not associated with the university. Jus been hearing the rumblings and mostly what ya hear is the negative so I guess that sticks with me..

No I don't think Fair is fos, I believe Dooley is being cautious with the media, that's what I want to believe after all the responses I've heard now..

Correct me if I'm wrong here, your taking shots at Dooley for not allowing players to come by, but the coaches set up that visit?...isnt Dooley a coach??

Man you haters will hate about anything. I'm glad everything you hear on TV and the radio is 100% accurate. Quit your *****ing already next thing you know you'll claim Dooley spurned you for an autograph and simultaneously copped a feel on your wife.
