Ok I know this isn't a gaming question but I wasnt sure where else to put this to where the fellow screen gazers would see it.

I'm creating a website and I'm a coding newbie, are there some code guys, maybe even the VN mods could chime in and give me some advice, that can help me out?

Scenerio: A visitor accesses the site, when they try to access the Premium content ($), lulz, a dialogue box to subscribe to the emailing list appears. If the user submits the form correctly they are allowed to view the content. If they refuse the form they are sent back to the home page. End.

Perfect scenario I'd like the form to be in a light box-esque type popup that dims out the background

Obviously once the user submits the form they should never see that Box again so I'm assuming (cookies) would be involved

The sight is currently on a Linux server but it's mostly HTML CSS, I'm trying to avoid having it rebuilt in something else, if it has to come to that I'll put it in Drupal.

I'm using mail chimp for the email DB and currently thats the form used

ANYONE with ideas or suggestions please throw them a me. I started with a light box with a form but I need to be able restrict access to the pages unless the form is submitted.

Here's the sight for reference: carolynsantos.com
