'26 Ohio Transfer Edge Adam Trick (TTU)

These young men (used loosely) don't get the big picture. Think about it. Adam Trick is choosing Lubbock over Knoxville. I've been to Lubbock in my time, there's no there there. Unless you've got a fetish for cattle, there's not much. I get it, it's a lot of money. But these athletes are not seeing the big picture (learning their craft from the best in the business, a lifelong relationship with the best fans in college football, a great NFL career).

This used to be true for a high school kid but this is no longer the case for these portal mercenaries. One year here means nothing it’s a short stop before the NFL and a large pay day. NFL isn’t guaranteed anywhere they go so they get the biggest paycheck they can.

They are picking a place to play for 1-2 years not settling down with a family. If someone offers you a 10x (probably) raise at that stage of life you are likely taking it.
