Ok maybe this is all my impression and not based on stats but I’d love to see some real stats nationally
In years past I have felt there was a nationwide effort to start each season with setting a tone that defenders couldn’t be “handsy”. With that said as the years went on officials swallowed their whistles and eventually by ncaa tourney time the games became very physical.
With that said this season it seems like the games are already fist fights with a lot of handsy play being allowed.
Are whistles being swallowed nationwide or is my impression just BS???
If I am correct by ncaa tourney time noses are going to be bloodied in every game.
