It's typical for most new consoles to have a warm up period. There will be a big wave of launch titles for a month or two, then a trickle of titles for the next year until everything really gets going. Not uncommon at all.

We've got SOCOM, Burnout, and Grand Theft Auto all coming out this year (fingers crossed none are pushed back).

Well, I dunno about that... XBox had a slow start. Actually.... That was for about a year and a half that XBox had Halo and not much else. So it wasn't a start. Anyways. PSP didn't even have that many good launch titles from what I remember. Even the big franchises are having a tough time crossing over. I know the Metal Gear for PSP sucked. I know WipeOut and Ridge Racer have been pretty good though. Other than that, Tony Hawk is solid and Hot Shots Golf is pretty fun. So there's four games, while Sony has the development connections to make this thing kill. Maybe they're waiting for the holiday season. I dunno.

well the sports games are actually pretty good. I have Mvp Baseball and the graphics are pretty good. I was also looking at more screen shots for madden and its not all that bad.
