From Tony Barnhart:
Tennessee has a real shot at getting to a bowl: Given the mess that the Boy Wonder (Lane Kiffin) left at Tennessee, I thought Derek Dooley would be very lucky to win five games as the Volunteers' first-year head coach. But Tennessee (4-6), which went 0-for-October, can go to a bowl by winning its final two games against Vanderbilt and Kentucky. Tennessee goes to Vandy on Saturday with the knowledge that it has won 26 of its past 27 games against the Commodores. The Vols host Kentucky next week and have a 25-game winning streak against the Wildcats. A big reason Dooley is feeling better about the future is the emergence of quarterback Tyler Bray, a true freshman who has thrown for over 300 yards in wins over Memphis and Ole Miss.

24 hours till kick-off and the Vols are looking to put together the first 3 game win streak of the year.

How will you spend tomorrow getting ready? What have you done the last 2 weeks that you'll be doing again to "help" the Vols win? I started the last 2 game threads so I figured I'd better keep it going.:)

This ruse of cranking a "pregame game thread" and then subtly changing it to the actual game thread is getting pretty obvious buster.

Go Vols! I hope to see them kick the ever loving Black & Gold out their @ss!
It will be pretty funny if when the stadium announcer says show us your gold a Volunteer tattoos a Vandy running back or receiver and a gold colored flash of light shoots out of his butt.

Been on the road for the past 2 weeks...this is the 3rd game I will miss seeing on the tube.

I am in Korea now, and can wake up at 9:30 Sun morning to watch it streamed on the laptop. Last week I got up at 3AM to watch the game on the PC (Sun was a tired day for me).

They have been playing great and I expect the Vols will put a good whipping on Vandy!

Hey, I have a 2 game win streak going on here.

Besides, I was trying to be obvious that I wasn't trying not to be obvious.

I don't know if CDD would let it get to 72-0. I would imagine more along the lines of 56-14. I just hope we get up early, so we can play some 2nd and 3rd string guys. As we have found out this year, that experience means a lot later down the road.

One point is just fine with with me. Just beat them. I can't go through another year like 2006 listening to the Vandy fans. They still talk about 2005. The local sports talk station here is run by a bunch of Vandy homers. I thought this year would change that. They became part of the Vol network.

Sorry if this is not the place to ask, but I looked around and did not see any tv info on the game. Will this game be broadcast on Direct TV? I checked the program list for this evening, but did not see it... Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks and GO VOLS!!
