So, with what looks like the completion of our signing day class, it looks like we've got 21 recruits and 6 more spots that could potentially be filled, if we find more people worth signing in this class. Who do you guys think will get (or should get) a look from this staff yet unsigned in the 2013 class? I hear about Tevin Lawson is one potential. Who else is out there?

Save for 14. Prob be playing a freshman qb at some point so the season is a wash factoring in losses to fla, ga, ala, sc, and Oregon for sure. All will have experienced qb play. We will need to avoid slipping up in the remainder just to make a bowl. So I say we take our lumps next year for the umpteenth year in a row and save the spots for DT , Lb, and Rb in 14

Saving roster spots for "next year" sure has worked out in the past, huh?

I save room for next year. We need a GREAT class next year.. not good, GREAT. We need 3 rbs, 4 LBS..3 OL.. that will be our biggest needs, and we will need to fill in a big way..

But dont go killing this class.. Butch seems happy although our swing and misses on the top elite prospects we missed on..

With our brutal sched. next year.. it is all about recruiting hard now and get ready for 2014.

I said Id be ecstatic if we ended up with a top 15 class, so I cant be all that mad and disappointed. I can accept a top 20 class. Vonn Bell has scarred us...he ruined our day completely! The day started off perfectly with Dobbs and Miller, but took a horrible turn when that suspender wearing geek picked OSU.

Who would we "reach" for this late that we could sign? Better food on the table next feb.

Our brutal schedule next year worries me. If we have another losing season I'm afraid the 2014 class won't look good either. These big time recruits want to win.

If we go 6-5 next year '14 recruiting will be a repeat of this year. We HAVE to beat at least one of these top ranked teams.

Don't we play 12 games during the regular season? But I understand what you are saying. I agree we have to win or next year will be more of the same. I honestly think we have to win 7.

This is probably a stupid question, but if we were to go after one of those "high-caliber recruits gone bad" like Dyer, would that raise our class rankings for '13?

Unfortunately I think we'll have to do a little waiting for the "insiders" to see what people Butch and company are zoning in on. Hopefully we can pick up some decent guys. Only up from here! Man, when Butch was talking about how they only had 31 days of recruiting and that he can get over 10 times that for the '14 class, after I really put that in perspective, I got chills. I'm gonna go ahead and say we'll be getting some studs next year.
