Judge sentences Palmerfest offender

Roy K. Madison, 23, was arrested May 10 for assaulting a police horse. :horse: He pled no contest and was found guilty in Athens Municipal Court Tuesday.
Madison, listed as an Ohio University junior, has three prior disorderly conduct charges against him dating back to 2007.
(hmm, a 23 year old jr???, 3 priors???)
Judge William Grim sentenced him to 90 days in the Southeastern Ohio Regional Jail and ordered Madison to pay a $750 fine, according to court documents.
Gray's horse was not injured in the accident, although seven other police horses did need veterinary attention,
(no word on the severity of said injuries) he said.
Eric J. Jones, 21, listed as an OU senior, also faces charges of assaulting a police horse
