I've been curious about the pres during all of this. I wasn't sure of his involvement/intentions.

I’ve been saying this for days. I believe that’s their last move, if they have the chance.

It would be exactly in character.

Wait until the last possible minute, when everybody is exhausted and wants it to end, then have their man produce a "compromise" name that fans actually like.

Let Tee in, but keep Currie in place. Their influence remains. Then they sabotage Tee at every step, and he fails. And the Haslams crow about how his failure was because "fans" sankbhim.

This has been asked a lot. Speculation I think is that the buyout is the holdup. Maybe they are trying to find a way to fire him with cause to avoid it or to see if he steps down.

Hypothetically, if your AD is unable to do his job, hire a coach, regardless of the reasons why (VolNation, fan protest, ex players calling before interviews to discourage) then the AD isn't meeting expectations for which he was hired. Sounds like a viable reason for getting fired to me.

You might spot him in your local Pilot/Flying J station if you are lucky.

Hopefully the whispers of Currie our tomorrow are true. It would be just in time for an announcement of an HC before the SEC Champ game Saturday for media attention like we heard weeks ago.

2. When is this Gruden announcement supposed to happen?

What are your thoughts on Davenport?

In some ways I believe she’s on our side (like the janitorial services & possibly not signing Brohm’s deal ) however I’m on the fence with her
