I trust Heupel's judgement. I hope Bailey is every bit as good as we had hoped he would be but Milton is just simply that good. I had high hopes for Bailey and I hope he sticks around and keeps working hard. Who knows, maybe Joe Milton is this years Joe Burrows (if we are allowed to make wishes here)

Burrows had a decent first season at LSU…projected as a 6th rounder.

Bailey seems to be struggling whether he’s not a good fit for this offense or isn’t showing the coaches enough in practice to get onto the field.

I won’t be surprised if he finds another home.

If I only had his experience at Michigan to form an opinion with, I'd disagree... but I see 2 major reasons why you could be right:
1. MIlton beat out Hooker and Bailey... two decent QBs.
2. Heupel always has success with quarterbacks.

Milton and Hooker are Juniors. I believe Hooker is a red shirt Junior. Bailey is a Sophomore. I doubt we go without an injury at QB this season. I like the competition. May the best QB play and win. Go Vols!
