On November 11, 1989, Chuck Webb rushed for 162 yrds in a 52-9 victory over Akron. He finished the season with 1236 yrds and 12TDs.

On December 6, 1997, Peerless Price had 161 yrds and 2TDs in the 30-29 SEC Championship game victory vs Auburn.
I’m my opinion, Price is maybe the most underrated Vols in history. He played his best in the biggest games.
In 1984, Tony Robinson threw 253 passes and completed 156 for 1963 yrds and 14 TDs.
On September 10, 2011, Justin Hunter had 156 receiving yrds in a 45-23 victory over Cincinnati.
On September 27, 1952, Andy Kozar rushed for 155 yrds in a 14-7 victory over Mississippi State in Memphis. Kozar was named All-SEC in’52. He became the head of the Physical Education Dept at UT and was named to the Tennessee Sports HoF, Greater Knoxville Sports HoF, and the Cotton Bowl HoF. He authored a book about Coach Neyland (“Football as a War Game—“)
On December 17,1983, Johnnie Jones ran for 154 yrds on 29 carries and scored 2 4th quarter TDs in a 30-23 victory over the #16 ranked Terrapins of Maryland in the Citrus Bowl. Jones was named MVP.
On October 18,1952, Jimmy Wade rushed for 153 yrds and a TD in the Vols 20-0 victory over the #18 Alabama Crimson Tide during Coach Neyland’s last season in Knoxville.
On November 20, 1971, Curt Watson had 30 carries for 152 yrds and a 26 yrd td run in a 21-7 victory over Kentucky in Lexington. Watson was All-SEC all 3 yrs in Knoxville.
Our current AD’s added 152 wins in his 17 years as HC.
I’m not sure how many wins he was a part of as a player or when he wasn’t HC. He only gets to add 5 to the total as AD. I expect 15 more by the time we win the NC this year.
