Please post any info you get regarding Coach Martin's recruiting visits here. I know we are all anxious to hear how the visits went with Jones and Ware as well as new recruits the staff is targeting. Thanks guys.

I've been checking the Internet every 5 Minutes while at work just in case something has been reported. Hopefully, Jones and Ware both will realize that being a VFL is the best thing for them.

V.F.L is a football thing. using it for fans and recruits cheapens its value. the vfl program is a way of life ,not a fad.

Well I feel so much better knowing that you know all the ins and outs of our Athletic Program. Maybe we should have our recruits come talk with you before making their decision.

Who is the Iowa PG that TOS has said Coach Martin is talking to? Anyone got anything on him?

I would think he is a fall back if Jones does not get in.

It is possible that we drop Ware and get Richardson.

Otto Porter
and Lekan Ajayi are all possibilities also.

Thanks, I looked around and found his name too. . .he got an Iowa offer and grew up a fan. Glad we got good news on Jones, at this point I'm sure we wouldn't offer anyway.

From what I've heard both he and the PG from KY were back up plans in the event we lost Jones. That being said don't be shocked if we sign one of those two in addition to Jones. It's no secret our PG play has been average at best since C.J. Watson left. It would be smart to have two pure PG's on the team IMO.

Yeah, I think we have a better shot getting Hickey as a back-up if CCM wants him.

I thought the first rule of VFL was that you don't talk about VFL?

The second rule is that if you ever see ole' yaw-yaw walking down the street, you approach him from behind and kick him in the nuts.
