Memphis is a good place...I've lived there twice and been there many times. Name me any large city and I can name you downside. There are as many good people there as there is any other part of the state or country for that matter.

I agree. I say 99% of the haters have no clue. Just going on what they have heard. I was not a Memphis lover until my son went to college there and now sort of like it. It is no different than other cities. Good parts and bad parts.

Memphis the home of Rock N Roll, Elvis, Blues, BB King, BBQ, St Jude, Griz, Beale Street.
Got one of the best Zoos in America.
Got the Gibson Guitar Factory.
Oldest Hard Rock Cafe in America.
Memphis in May
Mid South Fair
Home of Fed Ex, Auto Zone
Etc Etc Etc

Most important it is a Recruiting Hot Bed. How can any VFL not want to go to a bowl in the biggest city in the state and one of the best cultural cities in America is beyond me.
