I just got this in the mail.

I'm only about an hour in & so far it really seems like they've dumbed it down from the first one.

You know, as a BigDaddy you would think you would be a little tougher than you are in this game & deal a bit more damage. These Splicers are tearing me a pooper. Maybe it's just the rivet gun, that thing blows.

Not sure that I like this one. I'm on the second level. I have found parts that freak me out a little more than the first one, but I don't like the weapons right now.

just finished this up yesterday. i was halfway expecting to be let down by this game solely because the first one was so good but i wasn't dissapointed. campaign was somewhat better in the first game but it was still a great experience. i especially liked the part near the end where you get to see rapture through the little sisters' eyes.

multiplayer is surprisingly fun.....though, somewhat broken. the team that manages to get ahold of the big daddy suit the most seems to win the match 9 times out of 10.

Finally got to put a few hours in over the weekend. I'm usually really slow at games and I think this game is no different. I try and hunt for everything.

I'm trying to get through this game, but it takes a long time to gather the girls, find the bodies with atom, guard them, and then repeat a few times each level. Almost getting to be work.

I think I'll keep playing through, but it's tough to put down BC2 multi-player and get back into this one.

There are some creepy levels in this game for sure. Seeing dudes hanging from the ceiling is cool.

biggest problem with the multiplayer when i was playing it was that it would freeze up and i'd have to restart the xbox every couple hrs..hopefully theyve patched it by now

I tried to play this some more last night and just can't get into it. Too much work to do.

Just beat it yesterday. Great game and a worthy sequel to the first one. I didn't find this game as creepy has the first one though...there were a few parts that got me, but that's about it. I just don't think you have a very vulnerable feeling while you stomp around as a big daddy.

The new weapons/plasmids were far and away the best addition to this title.

all this game accomplished for me was making me want to play the first again. the first just felt genuine. this felt like a little forced. the only new thing was being a big daddy, but was that really all that new?

to each their own. i thought it was a worthy sequel. i will say, though, that it didn't present as much of a challenge as the first. i beat bioshock 2 on hard and got the brass balls achievement on it with relative ease. but i've tried doing the same on bioshock 1 multiple times and usually end up getting my butt handed to me. i've still yet to get those 2 achievements on the original.

definitely a worthy sequel. The main complaint I hear is that there's nothing new and it's the same as the first one. Is that a bad thing?? How do you improve on near perfection??
