I'm looking forward to this game. I enjoyed the mutliplayer of BF: Modern Combat. This should be pretty good.

....the Frostbite video was really annoying.

No one brings the multiple layers of warfare together quite like the Battlefield series. I was a huge fan of BF 1942, Vietnam, and BF2.

I have not played BF on a console, however. Does it translate well? BF shines on the PC- I hope it doesn't get consolitis.

I've been around, but you jumped over to the darkside and became a PSer. A true 360 gamer would have bought a new system after theirs failed. :)

Are you getting this game for PS3 or 360 once it comes out?

I prefer the 360 so I can play with my friends. The one stand out for the PS3 is reliability and lighting in the graphics.
Smoke have the new 360s fixed the red ring issues?

I don't know if it's fixed or not, but I've had one from the start and it's still running like a champ. I guess I'm one of the lucky ones. (knocking on wood)

They have added something to the new ones to help keep air flow better, to avoid over heating. I got mine back and running like a champ since. I did read on the xbox site that Bill Gates has allocated upwards around $100 for each console to be repaired so it is in their budget.

And I used to play BF2 for regular xbox on live and loved it. Waiting on this new one and I will get it for 360

Isn't its sequel coming out soon?

I played the demo a lot for BF: Bad Company, but the BF games have had some balance issues since... well... BF Vietnam.

Huey cable-carrying an armed and firing tank = hilariously impossible, but impossibly hilarious.
