Whats everyone think about this game? I know it doesn't come out till the March 3rd though. I think it's gonna be pretty badass to say the least.

I hope they did a lot of work during the ~ 6 month delay. Reviews last year before the delay were not kind in the least. I thought it looked and sounded cool, so those reviews were a bit disappointing to me. Commericals make it look cool.

Anyone want to start this game about 5:00 today? I've got it, but haven't put it in. Wanted to find some folks for online co-op before starting. Reviews indicate the single player mode is not much fun and consists of you ordering your partner around every second.

I'll probably borrow from a friend... I doubt I'll buy this game. RSV2 is coming out soon.

Never found anyone to play with. Read single player is a lot of management of your partner which didn't sound fun to me.

if me and my boy wanted to play when he came into town could do they do a split screen type of deal?

I found the co-op to be pretty darn fun. Played it for a couple of hours. Players can beat the hell out of each other and we often spent 5 minutes at a time slapping each other and yelling obscenities during missions at each other. Didn't try the single player but from what I've heard the game is only good for co-op.

Single player is OK but Co-op would be a ton of fun. I have no idea if there is multiplayer arena. Overall, B- so far.

Ok, My wife and I played this game (PS3). It almost cause a divorce. We have played tons of other games together and usually have lots of fun, but this one really caused us some stress. We have not played it since. :banghead2:

I liked it by myself tho...

Stay away from Gears...oh wait, you have a PS3 so nevermind. Ask Freak about how frustrating Gears of War can be. I hate it and love it at the same time. I tried to join a quick multiplayer game but never found one. I guess nobody is playing this online. Bummer, I would like to see how it is compared to GOW.

I tried to play Gears. I played about 5 games and had 0 kills. eesh. The people that play on there play way too much. There's a learning curve.

I rented gears for the first time yesterday and have gotten pretty much owned in the majority of roundsI play. I probably have averaged 1-2 kills every session. One thing i'm not sure I like is how they don't have a type of game where you can respawn during battles. I'm not a big fan of the "permanent death" thing. It's fun, but i've had better online experiences.

annex is a respawn game. I hate respawn games, it turns into a point fest and little punks running around spawn killing. I think that NCgatorbait plays some annex if you are looking for some partners.

didn't realize that. i never have played annex. i usually stick to warzone and execution since those are usually the only ones that anyone plays.....
