One week from today - can't wait. Pebble is so spectacular.

Who ya got?

Why would you play the St. Judes prior to this US Open?

The course and rough are nothing like Pebble. It was hotter then heck with high humidity which has to take it's toll.

I know most avoided it but why did a guy like Lee Westwood bother?

The U.S. Open will receive at least 30 hours of coverage. NBC will air at least 16 hours of coverage throughout the championship and ESPN will air at least 14 hours over the first two days of play.

USGA has made fairways extend to the drop off to the beach on many holes. Rather than the diabolical rough of a US Open, they've decided to punish players with wayward drives by having their ball roll right off to the beach.

Should be interesting.

Been looking forward to this, if for no other reason than to see if Tiger gets it together. That is not to denigrate the rest of the field by any means. I truly have learned to love this game.

Molinari was playing well all day but got a rude welcome to the US Open; seven over on his last seven holes including a double and triple. Yikes
