It looks like McMahon may also hold offers from Lousville and Ohio State, among others. Haven’t looked into Hall yet.

Okay, anybody know the inside scoop on recruiting? I mean, how many offers can a team make? Do they over-offer in hopes of landing at least some of them? Are the offers in any way binding on the team? What if they offer more scholarships than they end up having available? Is offering frosh and sophs really wise? What if the kids stop improving or lose the fire or, God forbid, get injured?

As many offers as they want to. Yes most schools offer as much as 20 players and they can withdraw any offer at any time. Scholarships are on a first come first serve basis when the scholarships are filled all other offers are cancelled. Offers are non-binding unless the player accepts then you can still pull the offer for any reason at anytime.

Just reading a little about these recruits.... Looks like we are offering after ten or twenty other schools ! Getting in on them late but they are 21–22 recruits? Looks like Louisville and Ohio and pretty much all the local schools are all over these kids. Hope we can be successful with some of these ladies?

Since our Coach and staff are new, just happy to learn they’re wasting no time, and are busy recruiting. Hope we’re successful, too. 🙂

as we are learning about out-year offers we can speculate as we wish but in recruiting today it is essential that the best players are identified early. Thus, we as fans are being told that the recruiting plan is active. Many of us believe to secure 2019 top players may not occur this year. And I would also speculate (MPO only Creekdipper) that the new staff is attempting to preserve/maintain/ignite selected recruitment activities of the previous staff.

Kellie and staff are doing the right thing......Getting the Lady Vols name back out there, under new management, should pay dividends sometime in the near future....

Most recruits will probably wait and see how Kellie and company do before committing here...It's the logical thing to do...
