Nico’s been struggling somewhat, but he was pretty much on target all night with his passes. 3 sure TD’s dropped by the receivers tonight. Gives me hope that the offense can come together for the Georgia game to give us a good chance to win. GO VOLS!

I was thinking this all night long. The offensive struggles were not Nico’s fault tonight. The struggles were penalties (on defense too), missed field goals (biggest problem), dropped passes, and the fumble. Nico player his best game yet tonight. Keep getting better!

Agree with sentiments above. I just also want to add he made decisions better. Under pressure he tucked and ran, a decision he has made slowly in the past resulting in a sack or, even worse, a fumble. Very happy with Nico’s improvement. Just need some receivers who can catch a pass.

Looks like the game has slowed down for him some. He was on target tonight and great timing. WRs did not do him any favors tonight. 14-21 points left on the field with dropped TD passes.

Got to bring in some top tier receivers next year. Cannot sign Baylor scrubs and expect greatness. They need to get in the ear of that Bama freshman receiver about a move to a team with a QB

I just bought one of your jerseys, Nimrod! How you gonna drop that TD pass?!?!

This was on the WR/TE and kicker. you need to hit at least 2 of those 3 missed field goals.

He was very, very good tonight.
I said in another thread it was his best game as a Vol. I truly believe that. He was dealing tonight . He just needs more help. The slot position has to be, HAS TO BE BETTER. There is no production there at all with Squirrel banged up and Nimrod not playing as consistently as he did last season.

That one throw to Nimrod in the 3rd, I think it was, was a sure fire TD. Hell of a throw but sadly dropped. Very frustrating to watch tonight at times. Thrilled with the team win though!

Nico was great and let down by a ton of drops…love how much he’s improved even over the bye week

The TE's played well IMO, especially Kitselman. His dropped TD was one hell of a defensive play. I mean yeah, you get your hands on it, you gotta secure it, but outside of that, he played one hell of a game.
That’s true. Shouldn’t have generalized all tight ends as having a bad game as a whole. They did play well. Coach actually utilized them quite a bit with success. And thank goodness because the WR’s were struggling.
