I usually tend to stay away from posting on gamedays because it generally brings out the crazies, but here goes.

With the success we had with Dobbs running last week and running last year vs UGA, why was that no part of the game plan today? I can only think of one designed run, and even it was a read option where he decided to keep it instead of handing to Kamara. That didn't come until the 4th Q either.

Don't confuse this with complaining. I'm happy as all get out that we won. It just seems odd to neuter Dobbs by taking away the run, and it would seem to play right into the defense's hands to not make them account for him every play.

Just wonder if that was due to game flow, design, or something else.

They mush rushed us. Tried to keep Dobbs in the old pocket.

Yeah, I was looking for more designed runs for Dobbs

Maybe they are trying to keep him a little protected for the next two games. He is doing better in a pocket that is getting better every game. He is taking a lot of big hits. I really believe they are trying there best to keep him from getting hurt. He took another helmet to helmet hit today. Right after the hit he threw the worst pass of the day for an interception.
