I'm not so sure. It's 1st down. Incompletion or false start. 2nd down- run up the middle. 3rd down (under 20 yards) pass for anything 5 yards short. (over 20 yards) draw play.

Pretty predictable tonight...run on first, pass in shotgun formations and throw it 50 yards down field. Look at Charlie Weiss with Brantley, theres alway a man in the flat to dump off.

What I don't understand is why we aren't running more slants and short-outs? Statisically the easiest for a young QB to complete.

This whole game has been a mess offensively. Feel bad for the D, they played their hearts out.

I don't get why at the goal line we didn't just do a play action to poole and let the fb roll out. That's a easy pass and would have been a huge confidence booster for Worley.

4th and 1 with SIMMS in and you call a pass play? I've almost never been negative about my team but that was completely retarded.

The first thing an offense needs to win in the sec is a run game. We don't have it. So we won't win any big games til then. I hate seeing every time in the sec have 2nd and 3rd string running backs better than our starting rb.

Agreed, those 18 carries for 38 yards are really selling me. And it isn't Poole that worries me on 4th and short, have you seen our O-line this game?

i'm no expert but i don't think i've seen a game where the defense does something good and the offense makes a bonehead play trying to go for it all..... as many times as in this game.....seems reasonable with a qb with Worleys stage to keep it short and simple

that was brilliant, 4th and 1 throw a ball out to the flat, Simms hasn't completed 3 passes to the flats. it's a hard pass to complete. terrible.
