And the offensive line combination that's going to start is one that hadn't practiced together till Monday of this week. Trey Smith will play left tackle at less than 100%, Jashon Robertson is at left guard, Coleman Thomas is at center, Ryan Johnson is at right guard, making his first career start, and Devante Brooks is at right tackle. Brooks has never played in a college game. Brooks missed the his final two years of high school football with a torn acl, so brooks has not played in competitive football game since 2013. Yep, that would be his sophomore season of high school.
