Yes, This is about the clearest description I've seen. Yesterday's game versus Texas highlighted perfectly in two halves both of our offensive philosophies. The first half was motion offense looking to get our number one score as many open looks as possible as a first choice. Second half went to the spread with our point guard breaking down his defender and distributing or scoring. It was like two different offensive teams out there in each half.We run a motion offense with a lot of pindown screens. This year we’ve used a lot more pick and roll action, too, often in the second half when Zeigler gets rolling. In previous years we haven’t used as much of the corner 3 but during the second half of the season we expanded the use of it to take advantage of gaps, especially since we rarely used the corners on film earlier in the year.
