At least the offense played well. Can you imagine if the offense played like the defense? Not only would we have lost, it would have been an embarrassing (even more so) pounding into the ground....So at least there's that. That's all, continue being on suicide watch.

I think it was this past Monday's presser that Dooley said his expertise is in offense and QB's. I'm paraphrasing but he said something like he was going to become more involved in the defense, learning it more, etc.

I am afraid that his lack of admitted involvement on the D has gotten us to the place we are right now.

This high powered offense coupled with an average D would have us with 1 maybe 2 losses right now. Unfortunately, the Sal D is simply terrible. Especially in the secondary.

05 defense paired with this offense would have us at only one loss right now..

The sad thing is.... We're wasting all the talent we have on offense on a season like this. It's unfair to those guys.

A HC must be involved with everything , upto special teams and strength /conditioning , not letting one person call all d plays or o plays .
Jack of all trades comes to mind.
