I don't know about y'all but this offense looks stupid. There is no slants, no play action, no under center power, no post routes... nothing but the same ole read option where the QB NEVER runs. Even in the two wins this offense looks high school.

Then...they have all this hurry up and then takes 14 seconds at the line of scrimmage to snap the ball. They ain't wearing nobody down. I'll say it...I miss Chaney

Ok, so when you can't complete a 5 yard pass or run the ball with will in a vanilla offense, you wanna open up the playbook?

Worley sold the read option pretty well. He sure fooled me several times.

That's funny, when they tried to even pass the ball they had 4 turnovers. Should've opened it up some more.

Uh....yeah. Florida gave UT every chance to win this game

Think about how ridiculous that logic is. We can't run basic plays, but you think more exotic plays which are harder to execute would be more successful. This isn't xbox where you just call something different. You have to actually be able to execute the call.

When our receivers are skilled as Patterson, Hunter, Da'Rick, & fast as Zack then Bajakians playcalling won't be an issue. Slants will be there. Our receivers aren't those guys. Cheney was nice but make no mistake about it he had more offensive weapons.

So when the receivers are open and the QB either over throws them or they drop it is that scheme or talent.

I am not sure what any one else is seeing but I am seeing players open and SCHEMED into position to make plays and just are not making them.

And you do understand the point of running up to the LOS is to keep the defense from substituting? Or the fact Peterman is brand new and you expect an amazing hurry up performance against a great defense? Your post just sounds like someone who deosnt undestand football very well. Sorry.

did you hear Coach Jones PC? You have a bunch of WRs that have barely played at the college level. they don't know enough yet to run all those routes. they are still learning. Then we start a QB who still has a lot to learn.

the offense being planned and called is about all these kids are able to execute at this juncture. They will be able to do more come November but still not everything.
