Be careful and have a good time. :peace2:

As good a time you can have in Nashville with the older segment of the family, anyway.

I have no idea what part of town you are in but I'll assume you are downtown and looking for walking distance stuff. The Paradise Park Trailer Resort and Food Stand on Broadway is brand new (this week). I have not eaten there but the people who are operating it have a good track record. If you are looking for a big St. Patrick's day bash go to the Music Circle roundabout this evening. Dan McGuiness Pub puts on a really big party. I'll be at home avoiding the drunk drivers but I hope you enjoy your visit.

The man flies across country and asks for a restaurant recommendation and you come with . . . CRACKER BARREL??

 My grandparents are in from Ohio, so the family ended up at Opryland with the rest of the grays. That place is ridiculous. There is more flat surface in the parking lot of that place than there is in all of Portland. The rest of the food today has been home cooking at my aunt's place in Hermitage.

Cracker Barrel is a glorified Shoney's with a cheesy store attached to it.

Okay. Hermitage. I think I went there once as a kid to see Andrew Jackson's house. Seriously, I've lived in and around Nashville almost my entire life and there are parts of town that I know zero about. If you do get out tomorrow and can make it to the West End/Vandy area I highly recommend South Street (in the phonebook) as a good, reasonably priced restaurant. Perfect on a Sunday afternoon.

I don't live in Nashville BTW.And I am wondering why nearly every time I make a post you knock it?You have a personal vendetta against me or just unhappy with life in general?Powertrip maybe?Do as we say not as we do?Anyways, I like Craker Barrel, and to top it off a girl my son dates, her family invested in the Cracker Barrel stick up front and they are now worth in the millions. So maybe I am a little bias.Questions?

I have no clue what that was about. All I did was make light of recommending Cracker Barrel as a restaurant destination. It had nothing to do with you personally. Suddenly I find out that I'm on a power trip, have a vendetta (I can't remember responding to very many of your posts) and I'm unhappy with life. Wow . . . Sorry for getting under your skin. :dunno:
