Off-season Topic: who is the best former Vol in the NFL today?

I honestly can't think of a better punter than Dustin Colquitt.

Witten has been a constant go to guy for so long that people take him for granted. He might have the 2nd longest tenure in Dallas after Jerry Jones...and those are all healthy, productive years where he may have missed one game and had only one game in his career in which he didn't have a catch.

If we were talking best at their position right now, then I would say Eric Berry and Dustin Colquitt.

EB and JW most likely.

Colquitts close.

Rivera is my wildcard. Maybe with a comeback year.

DB is the future.

Currently, its EB.

Malik Jackson was one of main reasons Peyton won #2. And, he ditched Kiffin at USC to come to UT.

It's like picking which one of your kids is smartest. The discussion against either one borders on silly. JW is a lock for HOF and EB probably so as well (hopefully he can play long enough to cement it)...JW still playing at an incredibly high level on the back side of his career and EB in his prime. I say both.,,case closed...

If Cordarrelle Patterson came with the same level of game instincts as talent, this argument wouldn't be happening.

Berry?
Witten?

Discuss amongst yourselves.

As the question is worded, Eric Berry. He had a more dynamic career as a Vol. Most prolific NFL career goes to Witten. He's within striking distance of 4th place on all time receptions this season.

I'm guessing the people who say Witten haven't watched the NFL in 3 years. Berry was a top 5 defensive player last year. Witten probably isn't even a top 5 TE anymore.

If it's best career for current players it's Witten right now. If it's just best current player it's definitely Berry.

I love EB. He's easily one of my favorite Vols of all time, but Witten is arguably the second best TE of all time. EB still has a way to go to approach players like Troy Polamalu, Ronnie Lott, Darren Woodson, etc.
