So far, we have:

Oklahoma: Stick a fork in 'em, they're done. Lost to TCU and barely got by Tulsa, who had already been whupped.

Michigan: Probably out of it. They don't have a QB, if they do, he didn't show up for the game today.

LSU: Wait a couple of weeks.

Florida: Wait one week.

Loser of Texas/Ohios St.: The loser is out unless all of the favorites get a loss.

USC: Who knows. They have no competition in the Pac 10, yet I have a sneaky feeling they'll get slack one week and someone who shouldn't will sneak up and bite 'em in their royal Roman pants.

Iowa: Well, they disapointed me. They too, are through.

Notre Dame: Nope, they have some good teams left and I'm not convinced they're that good because Michigan looked awful. Plus, Pitt got body slamed by a once beaten Ohio.

So .... We are in a good position if we just win.

We really need an Ohio St. win tonight because Oklahoma is looking so bad that I'm beginning to think Mack might get them this year.

But, after this week's polls come out, we'll have 3, maybe 4 top 10 teams left on our schedule depending on where ND ends up. Plus, we have the Bammers in the top 25. I don't remember a time when a team had this many top 10 teams on thier schedule.

Our schedule just keeps getting tougher.

Win baby win. That's gotta be our motto.

I thought all that out earlier...All we need to do is hang on and get pasted Florida, LSU, and UGA, and possibly a tough ND team.

I don't think anyone considered Oklahoma a real contender, given their personnel losses. Iowa was a complete media creation. Anyone who thought they were a contender should be drug tested. The Tennessee/Florida/LSU round robin makes it unlikely ant of those three go undefeated. Tough to see USC losing. If Texas survives tonight, they are in the best position to reach Pasadena. Virginia Tech and Louisville also have schedules tailor made to go undefeated.

The talent wouldn't have it easy if they played anyone.

You did it for me

Actually...

USC could go down in Pac-10 play. Ayoob came around today and proved he's a good QB at Cal, throwing 4 or 5 TD's. The spread is looking pretty good at Oregon. Arizona State nearly topped LSU tonight. And USC's game against UCLA is always a fiery one. Most intense crosstown rivalry in all of sports.

I would also have to say that it looks like usc and texas in the rose bowl, but with only two weeks of football played its already been wild and crazy. We all may be surprised to see whos in the rose bowl come january.
