Odd timing??

With a new head coach at Bama, I don't know if there is a defensive coaching position that will open up for him at any of the major schools. His days as a college coach at a big time program are probably over.

Pruitt was an idiot. That said he did the same things he did at Bama, at FSU, and at Georgia. If he had been a Haslam hire, he would’ve got paid to go away like Butch, and Dooley. The whole program was burned to the ground to get Fulmer out.
Saban was a cheater. He wasn't dumb enough to be personally handing out cash himself like CJP was. Next level stupid

"The appealed violations stem from payments made to the mothers of a prospective student-athlete and a current student-athlete and the provision of misleading information regarding those payments. "

Doesn't sound ominous but he's screwed so...

I don't believe a 150 million dollar football program let Pruitt do anything that they did not know about or approve. If they did then all of them need to resign. No one is clean here.

Pruitt got sloppy bc he was so insulated at other programs. He would’ve never been “caught” in the first place if he was a Haslam hire. To get rid of Fulmer, Pruitt had to be sacked.

This is completely incorrect.

Pruitt didn't get the hammer because he was "stupider than Saban"

Saban never hid anything. Kirby never his anything. This difference is those guys win, Pruitt didn't.

Cheat and lose, and you're the lowest hanging fruit in the country.

You have been on the site for less than two years. How much do you even know about the situation? How much do you even know about VOL sports in general? Are you in some way associated with the former sub par performing head coach of the beloved team of this site?

Fulmer should be ashamed to show his face on campus, but I know he's not.

Common sense, you think they just turned the keys over to him without monitoring what he was doing? If so they failed to monitor. Either way you go the buck stops where it stops. They have now totally reversed the situation which is fantastic, but history is history. Just for the record, I attended my first game is 1960.
