Just got back in from the game and wanted to post some observations (rather long). I've been to the Swamp the last 6 games we have played down here, '99 through today's game.

As for the Florida fans, I didn't have a bad time. Only a few fans, all young and drunk, were obnoxious. Their comments in general were unoriginal, but overall their fans were tame prior to the game despite concerns from Vol fans regarding their animosity for us this year.

I was a little disappointed in the Vol turnout. It looked like a majority of TN fans sold their tickets. I understand the economy is tough, fans were concerned about how they would be treated and the outlook going into the game was really down, especially after last week. I hope we support this team @Bama, @Ole Miss and @UK. We can still go 8-4 or 7-5, and will continue to play better.

Defense: Very good effort. Held Tebow in check and battled all game long. A few missed tackles, especially Tebow's scramble in the 3rd quarter, but overall good game.

Offense: Still no trust in Crompton. Yes Florida's D is good, but a little disappointed in not take a few more chances late in the 4th quarter. Tailbacks were solid and line played good from my perspective in the upper deck.

Special Teams: Glad to see us not punt it to James for once. Gave up big return to start game and were average on our kickoff returns.

Go Vols and beat Ohio

Kiffin came in with a brilliant game plan and the Florida was clearly confused and out played. Vol defense played above themselves but looked tired at times. If Crompton doesn't underthrow that ball that gets intercepted maybe a different result.

Meyer's strategy remains the same: if the offense is not playing well jsut let Tebow run. Tim Tebow made the Volunteer defense look completely pathetic at times.

Just got back from the game as well and am in the hotel. The atmosphere was not anything like i expected before the game. We almost got in a fight a couple of times and someone pushed a vol fan and he got a couple teeth knocked out. It was partly his drunk fault. At the game people were complete jerks. they were very rude. I was also very concerned only a couple of vol fans were there. I will be at bama and KY. I think our team looked solid today despite our offensive efforts. GO VOLS! nothing was thrown on us either
