Obama still has not called the Florida Governor

Outside of people who already don't like Obama, who cares? Scott is a bit of an ahole, a phone call changes nothing.

Then they have something in common, it's the decent thing to do. It's about the perception that this POS actually cares about what happened here in Orlando. Smfh

Don't act like anything the POTUS does or doesn't do would ever get you to give him a nod.

When you constantly whine, no one feels sorry for you when you're genuinely hurt.

It's a leadership function. Even though they are on opposite political parties, the very least Obama could have done was picked up the phone and said "we're behind you. Whatever you need, we'll help."

If a former President beats you to the punch, you know you're wrong.

I see this divider in chief term keep coming up and it fascinates me.

Curious, are you a Trump guy?

No. Well,I am now because Killary should never see the white house. I voted for Cruz and supported him until he dropped out.

This is true.

You could have stopped after the bold.

Agreed

Exactly. It's just funny to watch his haters pile on for something as ridiculous as a phone call.

If you think it's about just a phone call you haven't been paying attention

He skipped Scalia's funeral
He stayed in Cuba after the Brussels attack eating hot dogs and dancing
He snubbed the gathering after the Paris shootings
The SEC of State had to label the Christian Genocide exactly what it was...a Christian Genocide. He wouldn't do it.
He started talking about Gun Control before the bodies were even cold after the Oregon shootings

I could keep this list of disrespectful acts going...but it wouldn't matter. To his followers, he is perfect.

Just as funny to watch his supporters defending him at every turn.

What's the reoccurring theme in the other thread? Don't let a good crisis go to waste? Ironic. What was Scott's motivation for dropping that nugget? I'm sure it wasn't that he was personally offended.

If you were a VP and one of your managers had an employee die, would you call them? Or would that just be a waste of time and a ridiculous phone call? Do you go to funerals or is that just a waste of time? I mean the person is dead and saying I'm sorry to the family doesn't change anything. For as much as the left reminds us how compassionate they are the main man doesn't seem to be too interested in it.

Scott is political too - doesn't change the situation IMHO.

I think it's a legit criticism. In the bigger picture it's a minor one sure but still it's legit.

Whatever. The outrage is often feigned by both sides. A thread about a perceived slight by our sniveling governor is the least of our problems.

As to your other post, I brought up trump and division because if you think Obama is bad you are in for a treat.

Try to pay attention. I'm not making excuses, nor am I defending. I just believe this is a ridiculous side show of make believe outrage by people who hate him anyway.

Pointing at this and screeching "see!" is laughable.

But again, don't ever let a good crisis go to waste. Right?

When my mother died, I got a call from my chief pilot. The company sent flowers. Very very nice ones too. Yeah, I appreciated that very much. It wasn't expected either. Obama is a chump in this. That IS expected.
