The problem is that the POTUS flat out cant say the words in the title of this thread. He got a little too excited when he went off prompter and in playing to an audience he went full on collectivist and crapped all over the idea of individualism with just one sentence.

beginning to wonder if utgibbs wasn't your alter, he had a thread claiming that no success can be attributed to the commercial sector and capitalism and that everything good we have in this country is the result of the government's involvement

I sacrificed all I had and worried myself and wife to death by starting from scratch and taking chances. I didn't get gov't support or any grants. Only credit cards, 2nd mortgage and lines of credit. Created the business model, which continues to change when necessary.

Every good thing comes from the government. They are here to help you, nurture you, and give you all that you have.
Keep in mind, a government strong enough to give you everything, can also take it all away.

That maybe but when you add this to quotes like food stamps stimulate the economy, you get a totally different picture. Obama's message is clear. Earn money, share it with those who don't.

There is a big difference between the two. The context of Obama's quote is the same as the quote itself. The context of Romney's quote is not.
