O&W Game Coverage...

People that are complaining about the game not being on ESPN/ESPN3 need to chill. DISH Network is the sponsor of the game and I guarantee you they have the exclusive rights to the game and where it is shown. It has nothing to do with ESPN.

This is probably the correct answer. To address Negateer from the previous post, here's the nationwide apparel sales from 2010.

The top 25: 1. Texas, 2. Alabama, 3. Florida, 4. LSU, 5. North Carolina, 6. Georgia, 7. Michigan, 8. Kentucky, 9. Penn State, 10. Oklahoma, 11. Notre Dame, 12. Tennessee, 13. West Virginia, 14. Nebraska, 15. Auburn, 16. Wisconsin, 17. Kansas, 18. Missouri, 19. Florida State, 20. Arkansas, 21. Texas A&M, 22. Illinois, 23. South Carolina, 24. Texas Tech, 25. Clemson.

I was off a little with Georgia's rank, but they're higher than UT. I know it's just apparel sales, but it can't be ignored.

I'm probably coming off like a closet Georgia fan, but I hate Georgia and want nothing but Tennessee to humiliate them year in and year out, but some of you guys have got to realize that Tennessee isn't where it used to be in the general public's eyes. People all around America would not tune in to ESPN to watch Tennessee's Spring Game, and ESPN, if given the choice to broadcast it or not, but most likely choose not to. If that makes me sound dumb or whatever, I'm sorry but come on.

Is it just me or does it seem rediculous that Tennessee is the only SEC school who doesn't get it's Spring Game broadcast live on tv? UF, UGA, Bama, LSU, etc are on ESPN but UT's online only?

Are you saying that EVERY SEC team (Miss State, Vandy, UK, Ole Miss) or just the ones you named?

I didn't check, but if it's just the ones you say then IMO it's just a measure of how far we've fallen. It hurts me to see that we are no longer relevant in the national NCAA football picture. I hate it that we only show up on GameDay when they are picking games. It disgusts me that our only chance for fame lately is as a spoiler against UA, UF, UGA, or can you believe USC lite.

Don't get me wrong, I'll watch evey minute of UT Football this year, and cheer for the VOLS in person at a couple of games, and I don't blame Dooley. It's just like Parcells said - we are what our record says we are. Sigh.

IMO ESPN doesn't hate us. They run a business. They look at ratings reports every day that show who watches TV around the country, and we just don't peg the meter any more. Again IMO when you are coming off of three mediocre seasons and haven't been to a BCS game in a decade, it's just that nobody not wearing orange cares anymore.

We have to climb out of this hole. And I can't wait. I'll be here, Lord willing, when we do !

GBO !

Just hooked up my laptop to my HD TV to view online streaming of O&W game. Tested out nice. BUT. Can't wait to get my USB to HDMI converter so now using RGB cable.
Laptop has a micro HDMI port but I decided to get the converter which has multi video terminals (DVI, RGB, HDMI etc) and will receive a micro HDMI so I'm covered in future video challenges. But for now the RGB will function fine.
