O &W game concerns

Watching the O&W game this morning. My biggest concern is that they can't seem to talk about CJP without mentioning Alabama.

Good point. When they DO fall though, it will be fun to absolutely abuse their fan base.

Daniel was a tremendous punter, no doubt. However, I can think of many ex-Vol punters that made it in the NFL. Ron Widby, Herman Weaver, Jimmy, Craig, Dustin, and Britton Colquitt, Matt Darr, and Michael Palardy. I have probably forgotten somebody.

Don't get me wrong, I understand the value of a good punter. However, the idea of being Punter U is kind of depressing.

Why? Punting has saved a lot of victories for Tennessee.

I’m worried that with our kids spending so much time with the new strength coach they will be so bulked up that we won’t have anyone wanting to play us . The NCAA will automatically award us a Natty and we won’t have anything to complain about anymore .

I remember the Notre Dame game at Neyland Stadium. Coach Majors told the fans to show up early and be loud. Well, the place was packed and roaring, way before kickoff. Volunteers whipped the Irish up one side of the field and down the other. ND had one penalty taken on a kickoff, and our kicker put the ball through the goal posts, like a field goal.
