I didn't find any mention of the first 7,500 fans, but the link you provided said...

"VOL PACK OPTION: Each Vol Pack purchased includes 1 general admission ticket, 1 "Camp Kiffin" t-shirt, and a 12" x 36" Football Staff Poster. VOL PACK game tickets will be mailed with coupons for t-shirt(s) and poster(s) which you will need to redeem during Fans Day at Haslam Field, 11:30 am until 1:00 pm. For more information, please contact the Athletic Ticket Office"

Just ordered 3 fan packs for the family. it'll be my 8yr old son's first time in Neyland & I'm pumped. I remember my first time when I was 12 to see Carl Pickens & UT play Vandy for the right to play in the Sugar Bowl. They invited a bunch of fans to watch the AU & bama game in TBA. When AU won,TN was going to New Orleans. Great Experience for the 1st time especially.

thanks "Showme", it looks like you can purchase in advance or get your fan pack for free if you arrive early. That clears it up.

Couple of questions here from a first time O&W game attendee, so bear with me:

1.) I'm taking a couple of younger members of the family who would be really thrilled with an autograph or two, but I was simply curious. Will there be material readily accessible in the Haslam Field area given or for purchase so we can have them sign something? Or is it just up to us to bring in a piece of memorabilia to sign?

2.) With all the newfound excitement in the program, what kind of autograph wait would someone expect if you get there between 11-11:30, pretty much right as the Fan Day activities start? I mean I'd like to avoid getting there at 9:00 a.m. to get in line just to ensure the kids that are going with us will be able to get an autograph.

I know this is a different kind of year, and they are even capping the attendance more than likely so that makes it hard to know things for sure....but just any ideas or thoughts would be helpful.

If your willing to kinda push your way through the craziness, you should be fine. I think though that when the players that are there decide to leave, they just leave without notice. Not sure how that works, but I have been told that.

I have been going to O&W games for a long time and it really depends on whos autorgraph you want to get. The autograph situation depends on the popularity of the player. The lower classman should be fine and easy to get, but the stars they might have roped off and you have to get in line to get this would go for the coaches as well. Its going to be crowded this year so try and get there early.

Yeah, I going to try to get there early so I can get Berry's and CEO's autograph. Then I am off to Calhoun's for a couple of cold ones.

I was thinking of letting my son get the poster from the fan pack signed by the coaches and a couple of the players but I suppose you don't get the poster until you enter the game. I have seen people get hats and shirts signed and usually the players and coaches have their own sharpies.

we were there last year about an hour early and I was one of the 1st ones in line for the RB's with my 4 yr old. You just need to "pick your spots". Doubtful you'll get all the coaches plus a handful of stars in that amount of time...

I am bringing a wall calender for them to sign...should I get each person to sign on their birthday or is that just ridiculous?

I'm glad you guys brought up the autograph thing. I was there last year and the whole secondary was completely surrounded and I had to push my way through women, children and whoever got in my way to get my Berry autograph. So here are a few pics of the mayhem. I am gonna chill this year and watch the madness. LOL. Enjoy.
