Maybe not in order, but I think we can figure out the majority of next years schedule ... maybe?
Assuming the SEC sticks with the 8 game conference schedule and Missouri goes to the east as has been rumored:
Out of Conference
NC State
Georgia State
Akron
Troy
SEC East
Georgia
Florida
Vandy
Kentucky
South Carolina
Missouri
West
Alabama
That leaves 1 game from the West.
Well, thankfully LSU rolls off the schedule, as Ole Miss did last year. Arkansas was on the schedule this year and next, with Mrs. Sippi St due to roll onto the schedule this year.
I would think then, that we will play either Arkansas, Mrs. Sippi St, or Texas A&M.
So the schedule could look like this (obviously not in order):
NC State
Georgia State
Akron
Troy
Georgia
Florida
Vandy
Kentucky
South Carolina
Missouri
Alabama
Arky, Mrs. Sippi St, or TexAM
So, does Dooley get enough wins out of that schedule to stay gainfully employed at UT?
My opinion as of right now (opinion subject to change

)
NC State - looks like an L right now
Georgia State - W
Akron - W
Troy - W
Georgia - L
Florida - they are still better than us, 'til we prove otherwise, L
Vandy - one thing UT always does ... W
Kentucky - W
South Carolina - L
Missouri - probably a W
Alabama - L
Arky, Mrs. Sippi St, or TexAM - I can only see us beating Mrs. Sippi St out of the three
So, that's maybe 7-5, assuming we can still beat Vandy & UK, which I don't think we can assume any longer.
Personally, not being a negavol, but that ain't good enough to stay gainfully employed.
But what do I know. That's why they play the games, right?:salute:
