We have three commits and I was wondering is there anybody else out that we might pick up. I had heard we was in the running for the kid from Hawaii.

Word is the kid from Hawaii is a silent commit to UT and will announce at the Army game in December. Most likely just taking 4 OL unless someone elite has interest.

I think they will be solid. Maybe Stone will fix the snaps and that would be huge itself. I dont think they were horrible last year. They opened some lanes and the backs just couldnt find them. They were very good at pass protection as well

Yep I was reading an article about last year team from Rocky top Talk and it stated that the team didn't really like having coach we had last year coaching the O line.

Move Stone to Guard and start Crowder at center. Enough of this craziness already!!!!!
Worse case scenerio would be Dallas Thomas graduates this season, Stone will then be the replacement for Thomas and Crowder starts next season.

Watch out or UT to try and get an OV from this guy. 5* on rivals. Interview with him quoted as saying he wants to play with Henry. This would be a HUGE pick up! Not saying it is going to happen but hey we know we are in Henry's top 3 so if he wants to play with him one would think if Henry wants to come here we will atl east get a look at the big guy.

His top three is Florida Georgia and then probably Alabama due to Henry.

Not saying we get him but if Henry is really interested in us maybe we can at least get him up to UT possibly for the FL game and see what we are about. Again wishful thinking.

If Stone gets enough reps before the opening game he may be able to get the snap squared away. It's been over a year since the Florida snapping mishap plus Stone now gets to snap with his left hand when Bray is in shotgun, even though he is still snapping with his right hand when Bray is under center. I'm not sure how that affects audibles but I'm sure they can get it worked out in time. Let's keep our fingers crossed.

Ow that is something I have never thought about. How will he handle the audible. I know there are multiple times in the game where the QB starts in the shot gun and comes in to get under center. Not sure if the center is aloud to release the ball or not once he has grabbed it. Very interesting

I never did understand why Stone wasn't doing deep snaps with his natural left hand at the time.

As a matter of fact it would seem to me that Bray could have adapted to a left hand snap under center easier than Stone could have switched.

At any rate, if Kiffen had stayed around one more year then Stone would be playing for someone else, he didn't trust Kiffen but did commit to Dooley.

Simple, start off with both hands on the ball like a long snapper. Then drop which ever hand you don't need anymore. That way you drop a hand regardless, it just might change depending on if it's an audible or not.

I never understood the right handed snapping thing myself. I played center and had a left handed quarterback. Wasn't a problem for him so not sure why it was an issue last year. I just had to start the laces in a different spot depending on a lefty vs righty QB.
