We can all agree that with a WR, your "slot" receiver and outside receiver don't need to be swapped, if the play call is a vertical play downfield. I'm not gonna have my shorter guy in that position.

For our O-line, I feel like our coaches don't have a clue. Or am I wrong? Maybe they rotate our O-line, change positions up, etc.. because it what the PLAY calls for?

I don't know the basics but I do know what a pull is. Do we have one guy who is just better at the pull and we only put him in when that play is called?

I feel like we didn't use Jack Jones that much because we didn't call specific plays that needed him.

Just a theory I have. Every year, it seems like we can't figure out our O-line situation. This maybe the only thing that makes sense.

we didn't use Jack Jones AT ALL he never played. Meanwhile thomas was getting owned by a 240 lb Nose Tackle

Here is the one thing that killed me last night. We ran the zone read over and over. We never once had Dobbs actually run it as a read, and we never had him bootleg off of it. It was basically a zone run with the defense free flowing to the play, because we showed no threat of going backside.

It's the same deal that Auburn ran a few years ago with Marshall. But, Marshall would keep it or bootleg pass off of it.

I'm not sure why we thought we were going to run outside on a 3-4 defense that is small and quick. When we ran straight at them we had pretty good success. Debord gets stuck on his game plan, and he will not change it up. Cost us the Oklahoma game last year.

This all day. I haven't watched every play, but CT get abused all night, held iirc, sat on his a$$ once as the NT blew by. Flashbacks of OU 2014 from him. How? I don't understand.

We must have watched a different game. The defense had a hand in that. Debord was not the cause.

I'm sure Debord's game plan didn't include UT's Oline getting manhandled up front, but what few adjustments he made simply didn't work.....is team 120 a championship team, I would have to answer emphatically, not right now

They did, but we let Oklahoma change there defensive game plan and we continued to do the same thing. This is why we were stuck on 17 for 2+ quarters. Another score and that game is likely over.

This play killed my hopes and dreams for this season

I saw this as well when I watched the reply. Dobbs had all day, but he got anxious. Starting run around when it wasn't needed. If he keeps his eyes down field he sees Pwill getting behind the defense.

I watched Robertson one play literally push/whiff air as the DT blew past him and he fell right on his butt with zero contact.... Everyone has their opinions, but with better O line play and better offensive play calling/adjustments, this game would have looked a lot different and there would not have been any OT...

I'm sorry but Brett Kendrick had a horrible game. One play where Hurd runs up the middle you can see Kendrick just jogging down field and not touch a single defensive player.

That's what spring and fall camp is for...

Thank you. It isn't a real zone read if there's no threat of the quarterback doing something besides handing it to the running back.

If you look at the replay, lanes were there for inside hand offs or a Dobbs keeper straight ahead. Anything to make the linebackers hesitate.

I really try to not be negative, but our Oline play was down right pathetic last night! The undersized App st Dline pushed us around all night, play after play. I really thought and believed that our Oline was going to be solid this season. Then watching our D over pursue and continue to miss tackles was hard to watch too. It really makes you wonder what is going on in practice!

A defensive stop and that game is definitely over. See how that works. It is a team game. EVERYONE contributes to the win and the loss.
