Eagles drafted Reggie in first round 4th pick as supplemental pick, if that counts. I'd have thought we had other LB picks higher, but crazy that Al Wilson was 31st pick of first round. Also, WR's...Carl was 18th pick and Willie Gault was 31st. UT should be known as "Value Pick U".

I fixed it. For some reason, Reggie wasn't even on my reference list I was pulling from. Supplemental or not, that's the highest.

But then you would have to count the busts like Heath Shuler and Clyde Duncan

Shawn Bryson was a FB on the 1998 squad and drafted 3rd round #86 in 1999 draft.

As with above poster, I would have thought Al Wilson would have been the highest. At least in modern era.

Reggie White was not drafted to GB. He was drafted by the USFL to the Memphis Showboats. He was signed by Philadelphia after the USFL went under. Was there for eight seasons. GB got him in FA afterwards.

My! Look how many came out of the Fulmer HC era. That guy did some serious recruiting especially early on.

With all the great linebackers that UT has had over the years, Jerod Mayo being the highest drafted one surprises me for some reason. And that is no slight to Mayo, he was a terrific linebacker...
