Playing as Oregon State at Oregon, Autzen Stadium. Decent fog set in with that nasty cold Oregon rain pouring down. Down 45-40 with 0:45 left on the clock. 3rd and 8 after being stuffed by Haloti Ngata twice. Line up in an ace formation, wideout on each side and TE on either side of the line. Ryan Gunderson at QB, Mike Hass at WR and Joe Newton at TE I got a lean mean all-Oregon passing attack. Florida transplant Yvenson Bernard as the solo back. Line up, UO's lined up nickel. I put Newton in motion from the right side to the left, watching how the defense reacts and I see I got them right in my line of sights, they're playing zones. Time to make the Ducks pay. I run a counter left, Mike Hass, Joe Newton and Dan Haines on the block and Yvenson takes it to the house and Alexis Serna makes the PAT, being the Groza winner and all. Beavers win.

i was on the phone with a girl during this one... i had a create a team.. not juggernaut thing... maybe "smashmouth" style school or whatever.. but i had a running QB, and a power RB that could not be stoppppped as a freshman
at USC (out of conference) second half of he year.. undefeated but still like... 18th in the country... and my D was real real bad, just slow and bad.. and i couldn't stop them at all.. not the pass or the run, but they couldnt stop my option, and my receivers had dropped a ton of passes.
down 2 TD's with 2 minutes left, with the ball... and i score on a long run... then don't kick it onside cuz i was sorta just distracted.. but SOMEhow stuff them 3 and out... punt to the RB, gets a few yards.. next play, 1:30 seconds left.. i score... and then they return the kickoff all the way with bush(he's too good in that game)... and i score to send it to OT... final score after 5 OT's was 76-70 or something... i didnt score but they didnt kick the field goal right away, and my LB picked it off and took it the distance
i went insane for a good half an hour
the girl wasn't so amused? it was disapointing

It's NCAA '04. National Championship Game, Tennessee vs. Notre Dame( of course I playing with the Vols).

It's a defensive struggle as I start the 4th quarter, 10-7 Vols. Notre Dame strikes first, 14-10. My first series of the 4th quarter nothing goes right! Try to run, Notre Dame stuffs. Try to pass, the Irish have a blanket on my WR's. 3rd and long #7-Casey Clausen gets sacked. 4th and about 17...I punt :banghead: .

The Fighting Irish run off 2 or 3 first downs. Finally, the Vols Big D stop the Irish but they run the clock down to less than 1:30 to go. Irish punt, backs me up inside the 20.

Now the fun starts, score still 14-10, Clausen goes to work by hitting #11-Banks, #10-M.Jones and #27-Fleming for first downs. Now, the time is just under :30 secs. I line up in the Shotgun 4WR, #21-Houston is in the backfield. I send #17-Fayton in motion to the left(then send he back) and I see that the Irish D is in Man to Man and expecting Blitz. The HIKE and it directly goes to Houston and he runs 40+ yards to score the go ahead TD :dance2: 17-14

It's over...right? Time Left is less than :15 secs and I kickoff to the Irish. The Irish Kick-Returner goes 100 yds and scores :dunno: :banghead:

Its over 21-17! And less than :10 secs is left. The Irish kick it high and #10-Mark Jones fields it at the 10 yd line on the right side. #10 breaks one tackle then follows a couple of blocks to the right. He breaks loose and goes the distance. Vols win....unbelieveable.....Vols win :dance2: :dance2: 20-14

I think we need someone to audit that final score!

This was a few years ago, on like 99 or 2000.

I was playing a friend of mine, he was Florida and I was UT. We were playing at the Swamp, and he had just scored a td to tie the game up with about 15 seconds left. He got cocky and tried onside kick. I recovered it, and returned it for a td. The really funny thing was that I didn;t have my hands team in there, and it was Cosey Coleman, I think, who scored.

We lost a controller and severely injured a metal trash can due to this incident.

well i was playing online and i was using mizzouri with brad smith. (this was 06 and i was trying to gain a level and i had to use an average team.) i was playing somebody who was using oklahoma. the score was 35-28 (his lead) with about 4 minutes left. i had a long drve that ended with a 10 yard brad smith td run that had him screaming. it was 35-35 with around a minute and a half left. i had not been able to stop adrian peterson all day so he had the advantage there. i suddenly tried switching my defense and i made a lucky shoe string tackle first, and then just barely pushed him out of bounds on second down. his next play he tried a screen to peterson that was knocked down before peterson could get it. there was around 45 seconds left. he had about three yards to go and he went for it and got it. i stuffed peterson in the backfield then he had around a 5 yard gain on a screen to get back to the line. it was around 3rd and 10 with 26 seconds left and he used his last time out. his bomb down the field was incomplete. then on 4th down with 20 seconds left he punted it. i blocked it and returned it for a touchdown to leave him yelling into the mike. threw an int on his next offensive play with under 10 seconds left. i took one knee and game over!!

Have you ever played with the cheats to see what would happen? I was playing Kentucky with Tennessee and I was up 210-7 at half time playing 5 minute quarters.

I was using Tennessee, it would have been during Ainge's freshman season, and I was playing Ohio State for the National Championship.

Their defense was kicking my butt and I was down 21-7 at halftime. The second half was a complete turnaround, I switched some people around and used different formations, and I kept catching their defensive backs in single coverage. Ainge completed 18-21 in the second half for 1024 yards and 12 touchdowns. The final score was 94-31. The craziest good thing that has ever happened to me while playing. *Yes it was on Heisman......*

I was using Boise State a few years back and I was playing against Nebraska for the National Championship. I was down by 1 with 30 seconds left and I drove and kicked a game winning 55 yard field goal.

Have you ever used the pennants/cheats in a game?

I played with them and I was beating Kentucky so bad that I quit the game at halftime.

How do you use the pennants? I never bothered figuring it out. I know the unlockable stuff was just there, all-time teams and stadiums and such. But the pennant cheats...?

Use can use the pennants at any point while you are playing. Any thing from your oppenent dropping the ball, the pennant is butter fingers, to something that makes your receivers run past the defensive back every play.

You can use a kicking pennant and kick 100 yard field goals....crazy stuff....

As long as you have enough points you can use them indefinately.

Just go to the pause screen and scroll down, to I think, it says something about pennants.

I know, I got all the pennants in 06. I would just set the game to JV difficulty and use the 2004 All-Americans against like Youngstown State, or Appalachian State or some junk. Rack up crazy stats, get tons of pennant points.
