If you have any free time I suggest going over last year’s games.

I also suggest you start with the Auburn and Ky games. We had 1 quality(I don’t count KY because they are KY.) win. It would be interesting to see the method the Vols use to study film and what type of access they have to study film.

While the fans are watching last year’s action the players and coaches can be putting in the work it will take to make the improvements expected.

I expect the players are putting their free time to good use. I expect the coaches to be workaholics. The days are numbered to the 1st kickoff. I expect them to be ready.

I’m looking forward to this season. I expect to see significant improvements in many aspects of the team.

I can't watch losses again.

I have watched all the spring games of the SEC teams we are playing except Miss State.

As expected, Bama and Georgia look way above our pay grade athletically. Florida did as well, but to a lesser extent. We were comparable with Carolina, and I was actually hopeful that we might have a leg up on UK, Vandy, and Mizz.

I commented pretty much the same thing the other day - what film study actually entails. I mean, aside from the obvious. 😀

Totally agree. Future is all that matters. What happened in the past is irrelevant to me.

In both games the offense had success throwing the ball down the field and the defense actually tackled the ball carrier!
Amazing, no?

I think the point that he's making is getting last yr fresh in your mind before the start of the new season so it's easier to spot improvements or otherwise. Some coaches do this about a wk before the off season is over for the same reasons.

You'd be surprised at what you THINK you remember and it protects you from posting comments that make a fool out of you vs someone who has rewatched the games.

A good example of this is people talking negative about the o line. Yet against Alabama last season (best def we faced and maybe the nation) they provided 3 seconds on pass plays in most cases. Look for yourself

I suggest enjoying the warm, sunny weekend.

At least we know who is pumping in all this sunshine for this weekend..

Not a bad assessment of my post.

Our 1st offensive series was disappointing to say the least, in most games. I’ve only gotten thru a few but the 1st play against WV was a bust and then the hit pick against.Fl and strip fumble against the gimps just doesn’t do it for me.

If I could order it up from the film room it would be show me all our 1st series on both sides of the ball for each half.

After reading through the thread where players were accused of quitting, I may have watch the last 2 games to see if I can pick up on that.
