How in the h3ll is notre Dame at #9 with the same win loss record as the team they lost to( miami) ranked above them? ...not to mention that an sec team Texas has the identical record and ranked below the Irish, despite playing a tougher sec schedule? I'm all Vol, but bs is bs
And the ND, and anti sec sh!t has to stop. Starting to believe it's all rigged by Vegas. Sorry, end of rant.

I get where you’re coming from, but losing early instead of late has always been an advantage in college football. ND was criticized last year, too, but when it was all said and done they were in the national title game, and with a 12-team playoff where you have to win three games, any team that gets to that point is no fluke. I expect the Irish to be in the thick of it again when January rolls around.

They front load their schedule with a couple of difficult games then make the rest of it a cake walk so they can sneak into the playoff if they have early "good losses". They need to be forced into a conference. The whole "good loss" argument is subjective and fraudulent anyways.

Didn't think it needed justifying. I've always hated on Notre Dame among other programs. They're media darlings that will always get the benefit of the doubt and their independence allows them a scheduling advantage no other teams in conferences have.

I would say you'd think they'd like to be a full time ACC member so they'd have in theory an easier path to the playoffs; but I guess they already get the same treatment and get to keep all their rivalries.
