Yep, going to look like Arkansas’s roster this past year.Definitely would have to fire her in the next couple of days and get a coach in here the next couple of days. Looks like were riding the thing for an entire new team with hockey subbing coming their way. I can imagine what kind of players want to get into that D2, Juco, and NAIA all those girls would love to make 50 grand they would play hard and we would be about 3 and 25 when the season is over.
She didn’t make the assistant coach change, he resigned. She went to Danny and told him that one of her assistants had undermined her during the season. Yes, during the season and remained on staff. Kim is in over her head and Danny will keep her in because she is his hire. Next year will not be any betterYall can give it up on Caldwell being fired this year, she would not have been allowed to make the assistant coach change if the athletic department and boosters werent on board with her
She admits that her system is hard to get right without a lot of work. When any coach recruits' players, they talk to their coaches, teammates, checkout their personalities as well as their unselfishness. So, if she has to just about get a new team from the portal, there is no way that she can say that they will be a good fit for her system. Without players coming back, the same thing will happen next year that happened this year. She has to go.It would be hilarious if she's only able to field a roster of 8-9 players and is forced to adapt her system accordingly. Then, what if it is successful?
She doesn’t have a different system, this is all she hasI can understand a coach being dedicated to their system, especially when it has been successful for them, albeit at a lesser level. However, a good coach also should recognize that the system doesn't work as well at a higher level college program.
If she is a good coach, she should be willing to run a different system. This level, the best players are wanting the majority of minutes on the floor. Her system doesn't expose the talent that the WNBA scouts look for simply because they just don't have the floor time.
