If there is no football there will be no eligibility. If there is no eligibility, then there is no class. If there is no class, they don't lose a year. They will be freshmen next year. We and everyone else with have the biggest freshmen class in history of the modern NCAA. However, we will lose some of those guys in two years instead of three because they will be subject to the same 21 years old or 3 years removed from high school to go pro. None of this is decided but the NCAA cannot and will not cancel a season for a reason that is out of a student athlete's control and then have it cost them a year of eligibility. This also means that we could possibly have some 7 year seniors in the future. If there is no season. Will there be a freshman class? And if so do they all use redshirts?
