I knew it was over when we returned the Kickoff. I think we would have won had we had the ball on the 20 instead. We maybe could have run the clock out and scored with under a minute. We were running it quite well. Also would have been in 4 down territory the whole drive. As I watched us run that back, I thought to myself how sad it was that we pull off a kickoff return and it would probably cost us the game. I may also add the the refs just called precedural and personal foul penalties. Not one PI and not one hold. That one PF they called on us was BS and that missed breaking the huddle with 12 was a total whiff. It's like they didn't want to be there either. We tried to pressure them all night, but they just tackled our guys. You may think that players just gotta play hard no matter what, but when you get tackled by the offense all night and it is never called, then I'd say it's got to wear on you.

Because of that Georgia game ending all the way back in ‘01, I will always have BVS in situations like you just described.
